Job Description

Our client, a (Tech industry), is looking to hire a (Business Analyst III/Design Program Manager) in (Remote, USA).

Pay Rate Range:  $60-$70/hour on W2 , depending on experience

Responsibilities: 
  • Program Management: Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of design programs and initiatives across the Discovery 
  • Design team, ensuring alignment with broader product and design goals. 
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and maintain processes, tools, and frameworks that improve team efficiency, communication, and collaboration. 
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as the connective tissue between design, product management, engineering, research, content strategy, and other partner teams to ensure smooth execution of design workstreams. 
  • Resource & Capacity Planning: Partner with the design manager to forecast resourcing needs, manage team capacity, and ensure appropriate staffing across projects. 
  • Roadmap & Milestone Tracking: Maintain visibility into the team''s project portfolio, track progress against key milestones, and proactively identify and mitigate risks. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate regular communication of team progress, priorities, and dependencies to leadership and cross-functional partners. 
  • Design Reviews & Critiques: Support the cadence and logistics of design reviews, critiques, and other team rituals that foster a culture of craft and collaboration. 
  • Team Culture & Health: Champion team culture initiatives, onboarding, offsites, team-building, and other activities that promote engagement and belonging. 
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce friction, and improve the overall design development process. 
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management: Ensure key decisions, processes, and project information are well-documented and accessible.
Requirements: 
  • Experience working directly with design teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority 
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) 
  • Track record of building and improving operational processes 

Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience in design operations or supporting product design teams at a technology company 
  • Familiarity with design tools and workflows (e.g., Figma, FigJam, or similar) 
  • Experience with Client''s internal tools and processes 
  • Background in or passion for design, UX, or creative fields 
  • Experience supporting teams in the discovery/exploration phase of product development 
  • Strong data literacy and ability to use metrics to inform decisions and measure program impact
