Job Summary

We are seeking a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to join a high-impact research engineering team building a micro-VM platform optimized for low-latency, high-density workloads. The engineer will own infrastructure provisioning, cloud environments, benchmarking frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and testing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision and manage multi-platform cloud compute environments.
• Automate environment configuration and reduce setup overhead.
• Coordinate host access and workload isolation across teams.
• Maintain cloud subscriptions in a compliant and cost-efficient manner.
• Build and maintain VM performance benchmarking infrastructure.
• Track metrics including boot latency, snapshot/restore, teardown, memory footprint, and throughput.
• Design experiments for single-instance and concurrent workload scenarios.
• Identify performance regressions and improve system validation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across project repositories.
• Automate build, testing, and validation workflows.
• Manage binary delivery channels for kernel, VM, and agent artifacts.
• Improve developer iteration and reduce feedback cycle time.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or systems software.
• Strong Linux administration and OS-level troubleshooting skills.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and hypervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance benchmarking and experimental analysis.
• Experience with VM lifecycle operations such as snapshots, restore, and teardown.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure management, preferably Azure or equivalent.
• Experience managing multi-platform test environments, including Linux and Windows.
• Open-source contributions in systems or infrastructure.
