Azure DevOps Engineer (.NET/Azure Cloud)

Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Azure DevOps Engineer with strong Microsoft .NET development experience to design, build, automate, and support enterprise cloud solutions in Azure. This role is ideal for a software engineer who combines modern cloud development skills with DevOps best practices and CI/CD automation experience.
The successful candidate will work closely with Solution Architects, QA teams, Product Owners, Infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native applications.
Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise applications and services in Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and release automation processes.
• Develop cloud-native solutions using C#, .NET, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Web APIs.
• Build and support microservices and distributed systems architectures.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, ARM Templates, and PowerShell.
• Design and manage containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to define technical solutions and system requirements.
• Partner with QA teams to ensure quality, performance, and reliability of delivered solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and recommend scalable solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote DevOps best practices across teams.
• Present technical recommendations and implementation strategies to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience using C# and .NET.
• 3+ years of Azure cloud development experience.
• 3+ years of Azure DevOps experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Web Apps, and Azure API Management (APIM).
• Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, branching strategies, and release management.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and enterprise design patterns.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database development.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) experience.
• Azure Event Hub, Service Bus, or event-driven architecture experience.
• AI/ML implementation experience.
• Streaming analytics experience.
• Azure Solutions Architect or Azure DevOps certifications.
• Experience working in large enterprise cloud environments.
• SAFe experience.
• Experience leading DevOps transformation initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Senior .NET Developer with Azure Cloud expertise.
• Hands-on Azure DevOps engineer, not solely infrastructure-focused.
• Strong background in cloud-native application development.
• Experience building and deploying enterprise applications in Azure.
• Comfortable owning both development and deployment responsibilities from code through production support.
