Senior Full Stack Engineer (Angular/Java/Cloud)

Responsibilities

• Writes, tests, and documents technical work products such as code, scripts, and processes according to organizational standards.
• Solves technical problems and builds components/libraries with far-ranging impact.
• Delivers high-quality work and coaches more junior engineers on technical craftsmanship.
• Conducts root cause analysis to identify systemic problems and leads execution of action items.
• Designs integrated systems that allow disparate teams to deliver value with speed, scale, and reliability.
• Oversees management of technical debt and drives opportunities to eliminate it.
• Anticipates scaling, latency, and durability challenges and guides mitigation strategies.
• Partners with security to incorporate security-conscious practices early.
• Evaluates technical risks and guides practical prevention strategies.
• Reflects on squad delivery practices and recommends improvements to leadership.
• Removes duplication of effort across teams and identifies reuse opportunities.
• Measures and assesses team performance and identifies areas of development.
• Explores emerging technologies, leads prototypes, and incorporates them into architectural solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
• Minimum Experience: 5–7+ years designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in related technical discipline; airline industry experience.
