Job Description Summary The LASE (Land Access, Stakeholder Engagement) Lead is responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of land access, stakeholder engagement, complaints, and compliance activities across telecommunications infrastructure programs. The role oversees workload allocation, delivery performance, quality assurance, and team capability development, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with legislative, contractual, and client requirements. The Lead provides leadership and guidance to LASE team, manages escalations, drives initiatives, and acts as a key interface between internal and client teams.
Key responsibilities- Lead daily operations across LASE delivery teams, ensuring work is allocated effectively and delivery priorities are managed.
- Monitor team workloads, program volumes, and delivery performance to ensure contractual and client obligations are achieved.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to LASE team to support consistent and compliant delivery.
- Manage complex stakeholder matters, complaints, and escalations, coordinating resolutions across internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and compliance checks to ensure statutory notices, stakeholder communications, and project records meet required standards.
- Drive consistency in processes, documentation, and delivery practices.
- Monitor SLA performance, ageing tasks, and key delivery metrics, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to proactively resolve delivery constraints and mitigate project risks.
- Support workforce planning, onboarding, training, and capability uplift initiatives across the LASE function.
- Contribute to governance forums and provide operational reporting on team performance, compliance, workload, and delivery outcomes.
- Ensure all activities comply with telecommunications legislation, Schedule 3 requirements, client standards, and company policies.
- Demonstrated experience in telecommunications, land access, stakeholder engagement, property, planning, or infrastructure environments.
- Experience leading or coordinating delivery teams and managing day-to-day operational performance.
- Experience managing complex land access matters, stakeholder escalations and complaints.
- Experience monitoring performance against KPIs, SLAs, quality standards, and delivery targets.
- Experience driving improvement, governance, reporting, and team capability uplift initiatives.
- Relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of formal qualifications, particularly within telecommunications, infrastructure delivery, stakeholder engagement, property, planning, or operational leadership disciplines.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications legislation, particularly Schedule 3 and statutory notification requirements.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management capability.
- Ability to effectively prioritise workloads and manage competing delivery demands.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance and quality outcomes.
- Ability to analyse performance data and drive operational improvements.
