Product Manager

Description

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of software solutions from concept through launch in a collaborative Agile environment. This role is based in Metairie, Louisiana, and is ideal for someone who can shape product direction, align priorities with business goals, and drive execution across the full product lifecycle. The right candidate brings strong SaaS product experience, sound strategic judgment, and the ability to keep teams focused on delivering high-value outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Lead product planning from initial discovery through release, ensuring each stage supports customer needs and business objectives.
Define product vision, priorities, and long-term direction while maintaining a clear and actionable roadmap.
Partner with engineering, design, and stakeholders to translate goals into well-scoped features and deliverable requirements.
Manage and refine the product backlog by organizing user stories, setting priorities, and preparing work for Agile sprints.
Use Jira and related tools to monitor progress, track issues, and maintain visibility into development activities.
Evaluate product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to guide enhancements and future releases.
Clarify product requirements and acceptance criteria so development teams can execute efficiently and with minimal ambiguity.
Support issue resolution by overseeing defect tracking and helping teams address blockers that affect delivery timelines.

Requirements

At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in product management or a closely related product leadership role.
Demonstrated success delivering software or SaaS products from early concept through implementation and ongoing improvement.
Strong working knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices, including backlog refinement and sprint-based delivery.
Hands-on experience using Jira for ticket management, workflow tracking, and team coordination.
Ability to create and manage product roadmaps that balance strategic priorities with execution realities.
Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
Experience with bug tracking and issue management in a fast-paced software development environment.
PMP certification is a plus.
