Job Role – Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Reporting to the Design Manager the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be part key part of a dedicated team and support Design, Operations and Proposals Department.

Duties – Senior Mechanical Design Engineer • Create proposal drawings to support quotation and costing of equipment.<br />• Produce detailed GA, manufacturing and IOM drawings using 3D AutoCAD ensuring the mechanical integrity and fitness for purpose of our product and system designs<br />• Produce Bills of Materials to enable correct information for quotations &amp; supply of products to customers.<br />• Work with our Operations Manager and Purchasing to identify and interact with subcontractors capable of meeting our production requirements<br />• Drawing File Maintenance<br />• Ensure full compliance with British and International Standards and our Quality Management System Experience/Qualifications – Senior Mechanical Design Engineer • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent (HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering)<br />• Experience within a design and engineering environment preferably related to rotating machinery<br />• Knowledge of fabrication design and manufacture Candidates who are currently a Design Manager, Engineering Manager, Senior Engineer, CAD Engineer, Design Engineer, Development Engineer, Principal Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer and Project Engineer could be suitable for this role.
