In the fifth episode of the Haystack Tech Uncovered podcast, presenter and founder Mike Davies chats with Sarat Pediredla. Sarat is an award-winning entrepreneur and software developer by trade who started hedgehog lab, a global digital product consultancy based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Mike and Sarat discuss building a business in the North East of England, and the challenges that were faced when they started. They also question how to build a good company culture, and what a good company culture and positive behaviours look like for a startup and how this has evolved for hedgehog lab over the years as they've grown and established. They also touch upon the importance of hiring early years talent, and junior talent in order to support and nurture the North East, and how those junior members of staff can be invaluable in a business.
