The Role

• Support engineering and planning efforts for Submarine Rescue and Mobility platforms.
• Develop, create, and review Job Summaries and Task Group Instructions (TGIs).
• Assist with deficiency resolution and preparing sales cost estimates.
• Provide engineering support for 688 Class and 774 Class Submarine projects and Deep Submergence initiatives.

What You'll Need

• An engineering degree from an ABET-accredited institution (other related disciplines may be considered).
• 10 years of experience with submarine and/or deep submergence systems.
• Knowledge of US Navy Shipyard applications, including AIM.
• Experience performing complex engineering calculations (e.g., heat transfer, fluid flow, piping/mechanical stress).
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and proficiency with the MS Office suite.
• Demonstrated ability to manage work in a time-sensitive operational environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance.
