AMS is supporting a leading global consulting firm in hiring an experienced Data Scientist for an initial 12-month contract. (Offices in London/Birmingham/Bristol)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems and support data-driven decision-making.
• Analyse and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Prepare, clean, and transform data from multiple sources for analysis and modelling.
• Evaluate, optimise, and monitor machine learning models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to communicate findings and deliver effective data science solutions.

Essential Criteria

• Strong experience using Python for data analysis, modelling, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for querying, manipulating, and analysing data.
• Practical experience developing and applying machine learning models and techniques.

This is a client facing environment so excellent collaboration and communication skills with teams and clients alike, is imperative.

We will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
