The role will translate business concepts into governed, reusable domain models and drive their adoption across applications, analytics, and agentic AI workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Own the ontology product vision, roadmap, backlog, release plan, and adoption strategy.
  • Define enterprise domain models, entity relationships, taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, constraints, and semantic standards.
  • Establish ontology governance, stewardship, versioning, change control, impact assessment, lineage, and quality metrics.
  • Partner with business SMEs, data engineering, architecture, risk, and compliance to map source systems and validate semantic models.
  • Translate business needs into epics, user stories, competency questions, acceptance criteria, and production validation tests.
  • Enable governed semantic grounding for knowledge graphs, analytics, LLMs, and AI agents with appropriate permissions and auditability.

Experience and Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in product management, business analysis, or data product ownership, including experience delivering semantic or domain-modeling solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of ontology and knowledge-representation concepts, including class hierarchies, relationships, cardinality, inheritance, constraints, and controlled vocabularies.
  • Experience with RDF, OWL, SKOS, SHACL, SPARQL, Neo4j/Cypher, or comparable semantic and knowledge-graph technologies.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, source-data profiling, data mapping, and model validation.
  • Strong stakeholder facilitation and communication skills; mortgage domain and MISMO knowledge are preferred.
