Patient Care Technician Neuro

• Location: Indianapolis, IN
• Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Lucas Family Brain and Spine
• Department/Specialty: Inpatient
• Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift, 3x12 with rotating weekends

• Safeguard patient mobility by safely positioning and transferring individuals recovering from procedures to prevent secondary injury.
• Deliver high-quality assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring patient safety, comfort, and clinical hygiene standards are met..
• Monitor and report physical, mental, or emotional changes to the nursing team immediately to support rapid neurological intervention.
• Document daily care and vital observations accurately to maintain a seamless, reliable patient record for the clinical team.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free healing environment and keep specialized room equipment ready for safe patient use.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• Hospital inpatient experience.
• Healthcare experience.
