Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Urologist to fill an opening with an Article 28 Facility located in Brooklyn, New York. This role focuses on providing comprehensive urological care to patients in a collaborative, outpatient healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive urological care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
  • Diagnose and manage conditions such as kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostate disorders, bladder issues, and urological cancers.
  • Perform urological procedures, including cystoscopy, biopsy, and minor surgical interventions as appropriate.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies (ultrasound, CT), urodynamic studies, and laboratory analyses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and surgical referrals when indicated.
  • Educate patients and families on urological conditions, treatment options, preventive care, and post-treatment follow-up.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, oncologists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings as appropriate.
  • Stay current with advancements in urology through continuing medical education and evidence-based research.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted New York Medical License; Active DEA License.
  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and treating urological conditions, performing urological procedures, and utilizing electronic health records.
