Title: Senior Digital Project Manager
Location: Aliso Viejo, CA (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Direct-hire (Full-time)
Compensation: $110,000 to 135,000 annual salary (based on experience)

Partnered with a client who is a forward-thinking design and technology consultancy seeking an experienced Sr (Digital) Sr Project Manager with digital agency expereince to join a dynamic team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who brings not just strong project leadership skills, but a deep understanding of web development, UX/UI design, and QA workflows in a customer-facing role who enjoys wearing different hats in a hybrid role in project management and business analysis (Producer). They're looking for someone who balances strategic planning with genuine client empathy and team collaboration.

In this role, you won't just manage timelines and deliverables-you'll be building meaningful partnerships with clients, becoming immersed in their industries, and helping guide teams through complex and creative digital projects. You'll work closely with high-profile brands across a mix of marketing sites and web-based applications.

What You'll Be Doing:



  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, helping to ensure their experience with the team and project outcomes are exceptional

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine goals and translate business needs into clear, actionable project requirements

  • Guide cross-functional teams-design, engineering, QA-through each stage of the project lifecycle

  • Maintain clear, organized project documentation in tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps

  • Anticipate challenges and proactively remove blockers to keep work flowing smoothly

  • Help facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives

  • Support quality assurance efforts, user acceptance testing, and deployment coordination

  • Lead with empathy, clear communication, and a focus on long-term relationship building

  • Always be looking for opportunities to improve our processes and enhance client outcomes


What You Bring:



  • 8+ years of experience in digital project management in a digital agency, creative services, or tech consulting environment - all customer-facing.

  • Strong technical literacy with a working understanding of web technologies, CMS platforms, and front-end/back-end processes

  • Experience managing multiple project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and team structures

  • Confident managing projects involving tools and platforms such as WordPress, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or Drupal

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills-you can explain technical matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders

  • A proactive mindset-you don't wait for problems to arise before thinking about solutions

  • Comfortable with fast-paced timelines and shifting priorities without losing focus on the big picture

  • Certification in Scrum or Agile (ScrumMaster or Product Owner) is a plus
