Job Description

We are seeking an Advisor, Project Management to join our dynamic team supporting Gainwell. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare technology project and program management and a proven ability to drive end-to-end delivery, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes in Medicaid or Medicare environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead one or more large project teams, decompose programs into executable projects, and support project staffing.


• Plan, track, and oversee assigned staff by setting direction, milestones, and deadlines to ensure quality and timely completion.


• Own client, company, and project leadership communications, report metrics and status, and recommend program changes as needed.


• Create project schedules, program definitions, budgets, and objectives to ensure quality deliverables across all phases.


• Manage risks across direct and indirect teams by escalating issues promptly and implementing mitigation plans.


• Prepare detailed statements of work and support proposals and business development initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 9+ years managing complex projects or programs through the full lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery.


• 3+ years of experience in Medicaid or Medicare environments preferred.


• Expertise with formal project management methodologies such as Catalyst or PMP-aligned practices.


• Proficiency with project budgeting, financial controls, and project management software tools.


• Ability to translate program objectives into clear scope, deliverables, and milestones.


• Demonstrated leadership to train, guide, and mentor junior colleagues.


• Strong executive presentation and stakeholder communication skills.


• Proven ability to influence priorities and motivate direct and indirect stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• PMP certification or equivalent formal methodology credentials.


• Healthcare technology delivery experience with governance and compliance focus.
