Field Engineer

- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and IT infrastructure issues.
- Ability to diagnose technical problems and deliver effective resolutions.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite, travel between locations as needed, and safely use a ladder.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide operational support for desktop, network, and IT infrastructure in office, reservation center, and airport environments.
- Perform Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMAC) activities for end-user devices and IT equipment.
- Deliver onsite technical support during scheduled field visits and dispatch assignments.
- Diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Produce accurate and timely service reports documenting completed work.
- Maintain and document technical processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collect and analyze system performance data to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Manage work assignments efficiently while adhering to established schedules and service levels.
- Accurately document solutions for complex technical issues.
- Develop and document workaround procedures when standard solutions are not effective.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field engineers, technicians, and end users.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional and responsive support.
- Safely use ladders and perform physical tasks required to install or service IT equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience supporting desktop hardware, software, and IT infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience documenting technical issues and resolutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.
- Ability to lift equipment and safely use a ladder when required.
