Headquartered in New Port Richey, Florida, the company employs more than 950 employees across twenty states.

Lift Stations • Sewage Pumps • Wastewater Equipment & Parts
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager / Counter Sales professional with strong industry knowledge in sewage pumps, lift stations, wastewater equipment, and related parts. This is a hands-on supervisory position while working directly with contractors, plumbers, wastewater professionals, vendors, and customers. Strong industry and product knowledge are essential.

The ideal candidate will understand sewage pumps and lift station systems and have experience identifying, cross-referencing, and supplying replacement pumps, adapters, slide guides, and related components from a variety of manufacturers.

Job Details

Supervise, train, schedule, and lead a team. Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, shipping, and inventory control. Provide knowledgeable counter, phone, and email sales and customer service. Assist customers in identifying sewage pumps, lift station components, replacement parts, controls, floats, valves, fittings, and related wastewater products. Use industry knowledge to help customers identify the correct pump, component, or replacement part for their needs. Prepare quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders.

Monitor inventory and coordinate purchasing and replenishment. Perform and oversee inventory counts and resolve discrepancies. Use MS Office for inventory tracking, reports, schedules, and administrative tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse. Work with vendors and customers to resolve product, order, and technical questions. Ensure customer orders are accurate and completed on time.

Required

Strong knowledge of the wastewater, sewage pump, lift station, or related plumbing/industrial equipment industry.
Previous experience with sewage pumps, lift stations, pump parts, controls, basins, valves, fittings, or related equipment.
Previous warehouse, parts counter, inside sales, or distribution experience.
Previous supervisory or management experience.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS365.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who can look at a pump or part number, understand what the customer needs, and help identify the correct product or replacement component without relying solely on a catalog. You should be comfortable discussing equipment with contractors and other industry professionals, interpreting product information, researching parts, and finding solutions to customer needs. This is not a general warehouse position. Industry knowledge of sewage pumps, lift stations, wastewater equipment, and related parts is an important requirement.

Pay is commensurate with experience and market-reflective. US Water/USW Utility Group offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, paid time off, holiday pay, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
