Job Description

At Hestia, we are guided by our core values and are dedicated to fostering an equitable, diverse, and inclusive organisation. Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Right now, we are looking for a Landlord Partnership, Asset & Compliance Manager to play a pivotal role in our Housing and Property Services Team in London, with travel to sites as required.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

As the Landlord Partnership, Asset & Compliance Manager, you will provide strategic leadership across Hestia's accommodation portfolio, ensuring properties remain safe, compliant, financially sustainable and fit for purpose. You will act as the primary point of contact for landlords, Registered Providers and accommodation partners, managing key relationships and overseeing Housing Management Agreements, leases and licences.

You will lead on property compliance and asset management, ensuring statutory inspections, servicing programmes and remedial actions are completed within required timescales. The role will also involve overseeing planned maintenance programmes, monitoring landlord and property performance, supporting financial planning and reporting, and working closely with internal teams to ensure high-quality housing services are delivered to residents across Hestia's accommodation portfolio.

What do I need to bring with me?

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.

Essential:

Experience managing property compliance within a housing, supported housing or property environment; experience of asset management, planned maintenance and stock condition programmes; experience managing contracts, suppliers and landlord relationships; experience producing performance, compliance and assurance reports for senior stakeholders; experience managing staff and driving service improvement; strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills; and the ability to influence, negotiate and build effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable:

A relevant housing qualification, such as a Chartered Institute of Housing qualification (or willingness to work towards one); knowledge of housing management agreements, leases and property compliance frameworks; experience of budget management, financial planning and service charge monitoring; and a strong understanding of housing, asset management and property-related regulatory requirements.
