The Role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving strategic growth for the studio through proactive relationship-building, partnerships, and early stage project involvement.

This role focuses on long term, sustainable growth, building a strong, predictable pipeline across residential, multi residential, and aligned commercial opportunities.

The Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, consultants, and industry partners
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for key external relationships
  • Nurture long term partnerships that align with the studio's positioning and values
  • Attend relevant industry events, memberships, and networking opportunities
  • Represent the brand confidently and professionally
  • Build and manage a sustainable, forward looking pipeline
  • Track leads, opportunities, and conversion rates
  • Provide reporting and insights on market activity and development trends
  • Identify emerging opportunities within the local and regional market
  • Work closely with leadership and the Project Coordinator to ensure smooth handover of new projects
  • Align growth efforts with studio capacity and delivery capability
  • Support and represent the brand evolution through strategic partnerships and positioning
The Requirements
  • Background in interior design, construction, property development, or professional services preferred
  • Established network within the residential or design/construction industry (highly regarded)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Commercially minded with an analytical approach to growth
  • Proactive, confident, and self motivated
