Algorithm Software Engineer | San Diego, CA | Hybrid | $87,100.00 - $157,450.00

The Role

  • Contribute to the design and development of advanced systems within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Design, implement, and test C applications in a real-time environment.
  • Analyze signal processing algorithms and port them to C for multi-core environments.
  • Optimize C code for DSP applications and parallel processing to meet real-time requirements.
  • Develop Hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) tests to validate signal processing algorithms.
  • Communicate technical software details effectively to internal and external engineers.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 4+ years of software development experience, including strong C/C++ for embedded systems.
  • Understanding of linear algebra, probability, and basic signal processing principles.
  • Familiarity with hardware-software interaction and computer architecture.
  • Experience with build tools (GCC, CMake, Make) and version control systems (git).
  • Active Secret level security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
