Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Analyst to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications through testing, defect identification, and collaboration with development teams.

Responsibilities

• Review business and functional requirements to understand application specifications.

• Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to resolve issues.

• Conduct retesting and regression testing after defect fixes.

• Maintain test documentation and provide regular testing status reports.

• Ensure applications meet quality standards and business requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience writing and executing test cases.

• Familiarity with defect-tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Basic understanding of automation testing tools such as Selenium.

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
