Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer | North Decatur, GA, United States | Hybrid | $92,300.00 - $153,900.00

This employer is seeking a skilled Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer to join their dynamic Enterprise Finance Technology team. The role is pivotal in designing, building, and optimizing data architecture and applications that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. They are looking for an individual to combine deep data engineering expertise with strong business intelligence capabilities to ensure data is accessible, trusted, and actionable.

The Role

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and Informatica, integrating enterprise financial applications.
  • Ensure data integrity by implementing automated quality checks, regression testing, validation frameworks, and anomaly monitoring.
  • Independently plan, manage, and deliver projects end-to-end, and contribute technical components to larger programs.
  • Support dashboard and reporting development using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools, and lead enhancements for financial processes.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, data validation, and analysis workflows.
  • Partner with finance and analytics teams to design viable data solutions and recommend process and technology improvements.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, business intelligence, and enterprise analytics.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with data integration tools (e.g., dbt, Informatica).
  • Strong working experience with data modeling, data storage techniques, and data pipelines in cloud environments (Snowflake, AWS).
  • Working experience with relational databases (SQL, MySQL, Postgres/PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data quality tools.
