Clinical Documentation Principal Trainer (Epic)
Primary Location: Raleigh, NC
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Clinical Documentation Principal Trainer (Epic) for our premier client Raleigh, NC.
Education and Experience»
 
  • pic-certified as Principal Trainer in Clinical Documentation                             5            
  • Ability to work without close supervision, taking ownership of work activities, & ensuring training sessions & materials meet Epic's standards        
  • Experience with clinical documentation improvement (CDI) practices                       3              
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS)               Highly desired
  • Experience supporting large-scale EHR implementations or upgrades         Highly desired
  • Certified in developing the Epic training environments.     Highly desired    3            
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
Training Development & Delivery
 
  • Design, build, and maintain training curriculum for clinical documentation workflows (e.g., provider documentation, templates, SmartTools)
  • Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and at-the-elbow training to providers and clinical staff
  • Develop training materials including manuals, eLearning modules, quick reference guides, and simulations
 
EHR & Workflow Expertise
 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical documentation workflows within the EHR (Epic preferred)
  • Collaborate with application analysts and informatics teams to understand system design and changes
 
Optimization & Continuous Improvement
 
  • Identify documentation improvement opportunities through feedback, metrics, and workflow analysis
  • Partner with Clinical Informatics to support optimization initiatives and standardization efforts.
