Cerner Charge Services Consultant

Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking a RevCycle Charge Services Consultant for a 9-month staff augmentation opportunity.

Some travel to New Jersey required for this role.



Responsibilities:

• Guide the client and project team in identifying and executing the changes required to achieve defined benefits
• Drive the client through design of clinical and business processes, solution configuration, and technology workflows
• Lead charge services design and build activities for an Ambulatory and OHPAC new footprint implementation
• Support organizational change management and successful adoption of new workflows
• Interpret charge services reporting output and present findings and recommendations to the client
• Identify opportunities for process and system improvement across the revenue cycle
• Coordinate integrated design decisions across connected revenue cycle and clinical solutions
• Remain accountable for the project's targeted outcomes and achieved value

Requirements:

• Proficiency in charge services end user workflows, including Batch Charge Entry and Charge Viewer
• Proficiency with charge services tools: CSPricingTool, CSTierMaint, CSMiscSetup, and GL Alias Tool
• Experience implementing Ambulatory and OHPAC in a new footprint environment (required)
• Knowledge of charge services reporting functionality and the ability to interpret reports for a client audience
• Understanding of design requirements for billing systems, including Cerner Patient Accounting
• Understanding of integrated design requirements across Cerner solutions
• Effective consulting skills in client meetings, design sessions, and project events
