Job Description

As a Territory Manager at Lexington Medical, you will build our surgical stapling business across London's NHS trusts and private hospitals, supporting consultant surgeons in theatre with the AEON™ Endoscopic Stapler. You will own the territory from first evaluation to routine use, with direct access to the people who make decisions and a real hand in shaping how Lexington grows in the UK.

About Lexington Medical

Lexington Medical is a growing medical device company focused on surgical stapling. Our AEON™ Endoscopic Stapler gives surgeons an alternative in a large, established surgical stapling market, and our commercial team is expanding its presence across the U.S. and Europe. We build the business with a hands-on approach that keeps our sales team close to surgeons, customers, and the product.

About the Role

As a Territory Manager at Lexington Medical, you will grow adoption of the AEON™ Endoscopic Stapler across a London territory spanning NHS trusts and private hospitals. You will spend most of your time in theatre and with surgical teams, supporting live cases, leading product evaluations, and turning successful trials into sustained use. You will also work through NHS procurement, from NHS Supply Chain frameworks to trust product evaluation groups, to secure access for your accounts.

The role suits an established surgical sales professional who wants more autonomy and ownership, or a highly experienced one who wants to help build a market. As Lexington expands across Europe, strong performers can take on a larger territory, support new market launches, mentor new hires, and grow into national or regional leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run a territory plan for London that meets and exceeds sales targets
  • Full ownership and responsibility of the tender process across multiple prospects
  • Open new NHS and private accounts and expand AEON™ usage within existing customers
  • Support consultant surgeons and theatre teams during live procedures with hands-on clinical and technical guidance
  • Lead product evaluations, trials, and in-service training for surgical and theatre staff
  • Navigate NHS Supply Chain frameworks, trust procurement teams, and clinical product evaluation groups to secure access and adoption
  • Build value cases for trusts that address clinical outcomes, and prepare documentation for tenders and framework submissions
  • Track competitor activity and market dynamics, and share customer feedback and clinical insights with commercial, marketing, and product teams
  • Hold regular business reviews showing territory progress and results

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience selling surgical devices into UK operating theatres, including hands-on clinical case support
  • Expertise in NHS procurement, including NHS Supply Chain frameworks and trust product evaluation processes
  • Proven success introducing new technologies and displacing incumbent products
  • Strong clinical aptitude and the credibility to work alongside consultant surgeons and theatre teams
  • Ability to manage a territory independently, with discipline, judgement, and full ownership of and commitment to results
  • Degree-level education, or equivalent experience with a strong track record in medical device or healthcare sales
  • Full UK driving license and the right to work in the UK
  • Direct experience selling surgical stapling platforms is a strong plus

Location & Work Arrangement

This is a field-based position covering London and the surrounding area. Candidates should be based in or near London and able to travel throughout the territory, following surgical case activity, with occasional overnight stays.
