Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Are you sick of being chewed up and spat out by contractors? Wish you could lead projects rather than be dictated to?

Here you'll be joining a well established M&E consultant who specialise in designing through all RIBA stages. Typically they're engaged from the start.

As they work with developers and end user clients they always produce their own design work. Therefore you'll be able to work closely with key decision makers enabling you to understand what is required on their projects.

It could be a major entertainment venue, an aiport or a hospital.

What you'll be doing:

You'll lead electrical design projects, completing services drawings on new and existing buildings.

You will work closely with a team of 8 mechanical and electrical design engineers giving guidance to intermediate and junior engineers

You'll also work closely with the BIM/Cad team on co-ordination, clash detection and AutoCad drawing production

What you'll need:

You'll have worked in building services for at least 5 years.

You'll have a good understanding of REVIT MEP and AutoCad

You will like working in an office bouncing ideas of people
