What You’ll Do
· Greet customers warmly and conduct thorough damage assessments on their vehicles
· Write accurate, detailed collision repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software (e.g., CCC One)
· Review and clearly explain repair plans to customers in a friendly, customer-focused manner
· Coordinate with insurance adjusters to secure approvals and ensure adherence to proper repair protocols
· Collaborate closely with technicians, painters, and parts staff to streamline workflow and meet turnaround (cycle time) targets
· Keep customers regularly updated on repair progress and delivery timelines
· Ensure all estimates align with OEM repair standards and uphold shop quality benchmarks
· Experience: Prior role as an Auto Body or Collision Repair Estimator, or Insurance Adjuster (I-CAR Certifications preferred)
· Skills: Proficiency with estimating software (CCC One or similar), strong negotiation, and excellent communication abilities
· Knowledge: Familiarity with OEM repair processes, insurance claims procedures, and collision repair operations
· Traits: Detail-oriented, highly organized, customer-centric, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting
