RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Automation Tester in Minneapolis, MN.

Summary

We are looking for an Automation Tester to support the testing and quality assurance of customer-facing online banking applications. This role will focus on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of digital banking platforms through a combination of automated and manual testing, with an emphasis on end-to-end customer journeys, functional testing, and regression testing. The ideal candidate will have strong automation testing experience, hands-on expertise with both Playwright and Selenium, a solid Java background, and experience testing online banking applications within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Playwright and Selenium
• Execute end-to-end, functional, integration, and regression testing for online banking applications
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand business requirements and develop comprehensive testing strategies
• Validate customer-facing online banking functionality and digital user journeys
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations regarding application quality and release readiness
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and quality assurance initiatives
• Continuously improve automation coverage, testing processes, and QA best practices

REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of Quality Assurance and Software Testing experience
• Hands-on experience with both Playwright and Selenium automation frameworks
• Strong proficiency in Java
• Experience performing: Functional Testing; End-to-End Testing; Regression Testing; Automation Testing
• Experience testing online banking, digital banking, or consumer banking applications
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
• Experience working within Agile development environments
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing mobile banking applications
• Experience working within large enterprise banking or financial services organizations
• Experience supporting customer-facing web and mobile applications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
