Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an L3 Site Technician on behalf of our client in multiple locations across the United States. This role is ideal for hands-on technical professionals with experience in IT infrastructure, hardware deployment, and network troubleshooting. The successful candidate will support site operations in a mission-critical environment, ensuring reliable infrastructure performance, timely issue resolution, and compliance with established technical procedures.
Key Responsibilities

• Build, image, configure, and deploy hardware and IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, peripheral, and network connectivity issues.
• Perform Layer 1 and Layer 2 troubleshooting, including cabling, patching, and port diagnostics.
• Support fiber-optic cabling, structured cabling, and rack-and-stack activities.
• Execute routine technical procedures and change-management tasks.
• Manage incident tickets, document resolutions, and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, data centers, field services, or technical support.
• Experience with hardware deployment, imaging, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking concepts.
• Knowledge of structured cabling, patch panels, and fiber optics.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Linux command-line environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow technical documentation and established procedures.
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts in an on-site operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other IT ticketing platforms.
• Experience with rack-and-stack deployments and enterprise infrastructure support.
