17534R Trade Assistant (2x Job Opportunities at the Brisbane Airport - up to $40.00 p/hr + super)

We are seeking two reliable and motivated Trade Assistants to support a growing Australian manufacturer specialising in custom-built switchrooms and modular buildings. Based on a project at Brisbane Airport, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to the assembly and installation of high-quality modular infrastructure in a dynamic work environment.

Assignment Dates

• Assignment 1: 10 August - 21 August
• Assignment 2: 7 September - 18 September

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

About the Role

As a Trade Assistant, you will support the production team by assisting with the assembly and fit-out of switchboards and electrical equipment. Your duties will include:

• Fitting off switchboards
• Positioning and securing electrical panels onto frames
• Using hand and power tools, including drills and impact drivers
• Performing manual handling tasks safely
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Working collaboratively to achieve production targets
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience using power tools in a manufacturing, construction, assembly, or trade environment
• A current White Card
• A current driver's licence and reliable transport
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Desirable (but not essential):

• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence
