Job Overview

TechAGI Solutions is seeking an experienced AI-First Oracle SCM Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle E-Business Suite. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on Oracle SCM engineering experience with practical knowledge of Generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic AI.

The selected consultant will develop, customize, integrate, and support Oracle SCM solutions while applying AI-assisted methods across the software development lifecycle. This includes requirements analysis, development, testing, code review, documentation, deployment, modernization, and production support.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and support Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle E-Business Suite solutions.
• Analyze supply chain requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop technical components using PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, and Groovy.
• Build and maintain integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud, REST APIs, SOAP services, file-based integrations, and other integration methods.
• Develop applications, extensions, and user experiences using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service and Oracle APEX.
• Create and support Oracle SCM customizations, extensions, interfaces, reports, workflows, and automation solutions.
• Apply Generative AI and large language models to accelerate software development and improve engineering productivity.
• Design and implement prompt-engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic AI solutions for enterprise use cases.
• Use GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants for development, code analysis, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Develop AI-assisted approaches for code generation, code review, impact analysis, test-case creation, and technical documentation.
• Support the modernization of legacy Oracle SCM applications and integrations.
• Build and maintain automated unit, integration, regression, and functional tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, release management, and deployment automation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis across applications, integrations, databases, and AI-enabled components.
• Participate in Oracle Cloud upgrades, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Maintain technical designs, integration specifications, support procedures, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, architects, DevOps teams, testers, and business stakeholders.
• Follow enterprise security, data-privacy, governance, and responsible-AI requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise Oracle SCM applications.
• Strong programming experience with PL/SQL and at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript, or Groovy.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service, Oracle APEX, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience developing SCM customizations, extensions, reports, interfaces, workflows, and automation.
• Practical experience with Generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic AI.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot or a comparable AI-assisted development tool.
• Experience applying AI to development, testing, code review, documentation, modernization, or production support.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, and regression testing.
• Experience troubleshooting complex application and integration issues in production environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience modernizing legacy Oracle applications using AI-assisted development methods.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud implementation, migration, or upgrade projects.
• Experience developing AI-powered test automation and regression-testing solutions.
• Experience building enterprise retrieval-augmented generation or agentic AI solutions.
• Familiarity with responsible AI, model governance, prompt security, and enterprise data protection.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities with Oracle applications, APIs, and organizational knowledge sources.
• Functional understanding of Oracle supply chain business processes.
