Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports full-cycle recruitment for positions across multiple agencies of the company. This role partners with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to develop effective sourcing strategies, manage candidate pipelines, and ensure an efficient, compliant hiring process. The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at identifying and engaging with high-quality talent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding support.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define job requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source and engage qualified candidates through multiple channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, and recruitment events.
  • Conduct resume reviews, phone screens, and candidate evaluations to identify qualified candidates for hiring manager consideration.
  • Coordinate and participate in interview panels, ensuring a structured and positive candidate experience.
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with HR partners and hiring managers during the offer process, including salary recommendations and start date coordination.
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Manage recruitment activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Support recruitment outreach efforts, including career fairs, networking events, and university partnerships.
  • Generate recruitment reports and metrics to track progress and support hiring decisions.
  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 4 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple roles.
  • Strong sourcing experience using platforms such as LinkedIn and online recruiting databases.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience recruiting for technical or IT roles.
  • Experience working in large, complex organizations.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft or other HRIS platforms.
