Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the architecture, development, integration, and governance of enterprise ServiceNow solutions for a public sector client. The ideal candidate must be both strategic and hands-on, with strong expertise in ServiceNow development, CSDM, CMDB, ITOM, integrations, and secure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Define ServiceNow architecture, standards, governance, and best practices aligned with CSDM.

Develop custom applications, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and workflows using JavaScript and Glide APIs.

Design secure solutions supporting FedRAMP and government compliance requirements.

Lead integrations using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, MID Servers, REST/SOAP APIs.

Support CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITOM initiatives.

Conduct code reviews and ensure platform performance, scalability, security, and upgradeability.

Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.

Lead technical discussions, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide architectural guidance.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years of ServiceNow development/architecture.

Expert knowledge of ServiceNow, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Glide APIs, Studio, UI Builder, and Service Portal.

Strong experience with CMDB, CSDM, ITOM, Discovery, and Service Mapping.

Hands-on experience with IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, MID Server, REST/SOAP.

Experience in FedRAMP or similarly regulated government environments.

Strong knowledge of ServiceNow security, ACLs, encryption, and secure coding.

Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.

Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH.
