Interaction Designer

Telford, but flexible

Multiple roles £380-£450 per day inside IR35

Requires BBSS/SC Clearance

We are seeking experienced Digital Professionals to support delivery across the Government Gateway programme. Opportunities are available for individuals with backgrounds in User Research, Interaction Design, or Content Design, working within agile, multidisciplinary teams to improve critical public services used by millions of citizens and businesses.

You will play a key role in creating user-centred, accessible, and evidence-based digital services by understanding user needs, shaping service experiences, developing content and design solutions, and collaborating closely with researchers, designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the design and delivery of user-centred digital services.
  • Using research, data, and evidence to inform decisions and improve user experiences.
  • Creating accessible and inclusive solutions that meet government standards.
  • Working collaboratively within agile, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Communicating insights, recommendations, and design decisions to a range of stakeholders.
  • Continuously iterating and improving services based on user feedback and business needs.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working in digital, design, content, or user research roles.
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles.
  • Ability to use evidence and research to inform decisions.
  • Experience working within agile delivery environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Passion for accessibility, inclusion, and delivering high-quality digital services.
