Engineer Systems I with Security Clearance

Position Title: Engineer Systems I Location: Newport, RI Clearance required: SECRET Scope of Work: Provides entry-level engineering support for network, telephone, and media systems, assisting with design, integration, testing, and documentation of enterprise infrastructure.   Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Support network, telephone, and media systems engineering and design
• Assist with system integration, verification, validation, and test
• Prepare system designs, drawings, and topology maps
• Support feasibility studies and test plan development
• Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.
• Engineering fundamentals in network, telephone, or media systems
• Personnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
