Entry-Level Certification Engineer

Job Description

A Certification Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. To be considered, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline. In this job, you will perform various engineering tasks to support the certification efforts of commercial aircraft interior products. Certification Engineer job duties include:

• Perform standard engineering tasks related to stress analysis and deflection
• Review engineering drawings and bill of materials
• Develop certification test plans and reports to demonstrate compliance to defined requirements
• Compile FAA certification documentation for submission
• Support meetings with various engineering teams as part of a broad certification effort Qualifications:
• Microsoft office proficiency
• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify and understand failure modes of systems
• Legal authorization to work in the US required Desired but not required skills:
• FAA/EASA certification experience
• Familiarity with FEA modeling and data review We provide a competitive pay and benefits package.

This position is offering a salary rate of $64,480 - $68,640 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
