Sr. ServiceNow Developer (CMDB/Discovery/ITOM)

Job Description :
Design, implement, and optimize ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), IT Operations Management (ITOM) Discovery, and Service Mapping capabilities. Maintain accurate configuration data aligned with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), strengthen data governance, and enable event correlation and service visibility across enterprise infrastructure. Relevant certifications in ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Data Foundations are required.
Responsibilities

• CMDB Design: Define CI classes, attributes, and relationships aligned with CSDM; maintain CMDB completeness, correctness, and compliance.
• Discovery & Service Mapping: Configure Discovery, MID Servers, credentials, schedules, patterns, probes, and sensors; develop top-down and tag-based service maps.
• Integrations: Connect cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, monitoring, and third-party systems using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Service Graph Connectors.
• Data Governance: Implement Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules, source precedence, data normalization, stale-CI lifecycle management, audits, and remediation.
• Event Management & AIOps: Configure event rules, alert correlation, CI binding, alert-to-incident automation, and monitoring integrations.
• Platform Development & Collaboration: Develop scripts, flows, scheduled jobs, dashboards, and reports; collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and ITSM teams; document solutions and follow change governance.

Need to have any one of the following:

• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Discovery.
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Service Mapping.
• ServiceNow Data Foundations certification.
