Responsible for gathering requirements from the client and closing them successfully.
Involved in complete recruitment process (sourcing, short listing, HR screening/interview, interview arrangements, salary negotiations, offer initiation, post-offer follow ups.)
Conducts initial interviews by phone to determine experience and skill level.
Ensure that resume appropriately reflects candidate's experience and requirement.
Arranges for client interviews and possible offer of employment.
Negotiates salaries with candidates and successfully convince them to join.
Ensure candidate is available and ready to take up the position.
Responsible for recruiting IT professional across the US through internet job portals - (Monster.com,Tech-Fech.com and Dice.com), direct phone sourcing, networking (LinkedIn), vendors and referrals.
Sourcing & screening the profiles for different requirements in a day.
Activities included but not limited to developing and building channel / vendor relations, understanding existing and pending client needs and closing requisitions

Description:

Client is looking for a Senior Mobile Server - Java Developer who can be responsible to develop Java applications and build the back-end features . This is a full time role in North Austin area.

Major Role:

• Design and implement applications and services using Java, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, Flash, and mobile platform languages
• Work with other team members to identify and implement features and functionality that create a unique and superior experience for the customers
• Build back-end functionality, providing services across multiple application tiers
• Use modern Java development libraries and toolkits including Tapestry, Hibernate, MySQL, and others to create feature-rich web applications
• Follow standard Agile development methodologies to implement solutions
• Collaborate with other programmers, designers and artists

Requirements:
·  5+ years of relevant experience with 4-year Technical (CS, Engineering) Degree required

• Java development - 4+ years
• Working experience with Servlets/JSP, Java persistence (Hibernate, EJB, JDBC) is required.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Databases/SQL
• Web applications and web systems design/architecture - 3+ years
• Web development -HTML/XHTML
• Excellent personal presentation, oral, and written skills also required
• Ability to contribute to and work within schedules that are assigned

Preferences:

• Mobile systems interfaces (push notifications, server persistence, game interfaces, event management, etc.)
• Eclipse, Tapestry, Hibernate, and/or other Java "community" toolkits
• AJAX/JavaScript programming
• Web Services/SOA/SCA
• Web Portal Applications Programming (Portlets, Wiki, Blogs, etc.)
• High-volume web site development
• Windows and Linux deployment experience
