The Role

• Direct and oversee the hospital's accounting system and financial operations, including billing, AR, AP, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reviews, budgets, and state financial reports.
• Develop and implement plans to enhance operational efficiency in collaboration with hospital leadership and corporate teams.
• Monitor compliance with Medicare regulations and internal controls.
• Participate in hospital Governing Body committees and partnership boards as required.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum five years of hospital accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Proven knowledge of financial management, analysis principles, and techniques.
• Experience in financial management, including labor and revenue analysis, expense management, and contract negotiation.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting (capital and operational) and creating strong internal control environments.
