Schlosser / Metallbauer als Monteur | Cuxhaven, Germany | On-site A leading European provider of integrated service solutions for buildings, energy, and communications networks is looking for a skilled Mechanic/Metalworker to join their team. This role is crucial in building and modernizing substations, contributing significantly to the energy transition and climate protection goals in Northern Germany. The Role • Assembly of steel structures in medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations (up to 380kV). • Installation of high-voltage and medium-voltage equipment and electrical installations. • Installation of components such as high-voltage clamps, suspension, and support insulators. • Assembly and disassembly of bolted and pressed connections, including pipe and cable assembly with tensioning. • Review and marking of technical documentation. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in metalworking, such as Metalworker, Industrial Mechanic, Structural Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or a comparable qualification. • Professional experience in metalworking, e.g., in construction, mechanical and plant engineering, energy technology, or the metal processing industry. • Ideally, experience working safely with electrical installations. • A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to work sites with a personal vehicle. • Willingness for regular assembly assignments (Monday-Thursday) in Northern Germany, including overnight stays. • Good German language skills and an independent, motivated work style.
