About The Role Peraton is hiring a Scheduling Support Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community.

This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a technical SETA contractor, you will advise and assist the Government Program Manager in System Engineering activities by applying current DoD and industry best practices in Systems Engineering processes and principles. You will assist the Enterprise Schedule Management Service (ESMS) and the application, scheduling, and program management support team to the mission customer. The team assists customers with the development and maintenance of program and project schedules.

The ESMS repository is a Microsoft Project Server and is intended to be a comprehensive inventory and hosting environment for programs, projects, and schedule dependencies. #MDFSP #AJCM Qualifications Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline and at least 15 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's or PhD Degree may be substituted for two years of experience.

Note: a High School Diploma or GED plus 19 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.

• This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year.
• Microsoft Project expertise
• Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired

• A broad experience in systems engineering disciplines, system integration, project management
• A demonstrated ability to work constructively and successfully with diverse stakeholders to resolve mission and technical issues.
• Self-starter, with high attention to detail, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong in writing and communications skills.

Details Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
