Job Description

At-a-Glance:
Are you ready to build your career by joining an international fire, HVAC and security equipment company. If so, our client is hiring a L&D Business Analyst.

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Learning & Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Process Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience implementing, administering, or supporting Learning Management Systems (LMS) or comparable enterprise platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Experience developing and executing functional and user acceptance testing plans.
  • Strong process mapping and business process improvement skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements for technical teams.
  • Has experience supporting LMS implementations or comparable enterprise software deployments and can effectively bridge business and technical teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Learning & Development Business Analyst will support a large-scale Learning Management System (LMS) transformation initiative.
  • Partner with Learning & Development, Technology, Operations, and LMS vendors to define business requirements, evaluate current processes, design future-state solutions, and coordinate functional testing activities.
  • Role will play a critical part in ensuring the successful transition to a new LMS by improving administrative processes, identifying automation opportunities, validating system functionality, and supporting change readiness across the organization.
  • Key Responsibilities
    • Gather, document, and maintain business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
    • Document current-state and future-state business processes.
    • Analyze current workflows and conduct time studies to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
    • Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to design and implement scalable solutions.
    • Develop and execute functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
    • Validate system functionality, track defects, and support issue resolution.
    • Assist with data validation, migration activities, and implementation readiness.
    • Support development of operational processes and standard work for the future LMS environment.
