Job Description

If you're looking for an LPN opportunity that offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to use your clinical skills throughout your shift, this may be the change you're looking for.

WSi Healthcare Personnel is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for a correctional healthcare opportunity in Carrizozo, New Mexico. We are currently seeking full-time, part-time, and PRN LPNs , giving you the flexibility to find an option that works with your schedule.

Pay is $35–$40/hour DOE , with both day and night opportunities available. Full-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision benefits, and employees may also elect to participate in WSi's 401(k).

This is a hands-on nursing position for an LPN who enjoys variety and wants to use more of their clinical skill set. Your shift may include medication passes, intakes and health assessments, responding to patient concerns, communicating with a medical provider, monitoring ongoing healthcare needs, and documenting care.

Why consider this opportunity?

  • Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits available to full-time employees
  • 401(k) participation available
  • Weekday and weekend availability
  • Day shift: 6:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
  • Night shift: 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.
  • Mileage reimbursement for qualifying travel of 50+ miles

As an LPN in this setting, your responsibilities may include:

New to correctional Healthcare?

You don't need to come from a correctional background to be interested in this opportunity. If you have a strong LPN foundation, communicate well with providers and other professionals, are comfortable working independently, and know when a patient concern needs to be escalated, we'd like to talk with you.

We'll walk you through the position and expectations during the interview process and answer your questions about working in a correctional healthcare setting.
