The Role

• Operate heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to load, unload, and relocate shipping containers.
• Drive hostlers to efficiently position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Stack, move, and organize containers according to operational needs.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate container moves and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all established protocols and procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Commitment to safety and a keen attention to detail.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Open availability, including shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.
