Job Description:

We are seeking a practical Oracle Fusion Procurement / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Consultant with strong hands-on experience connecting business process knowledge with actual system execution. The ideal candidate should be able to clearly explain their implementation experience and demonstrate a strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Procurement and Payables.

The screening process will focus on specific hands-on experience with:

• Oracle Fusion Procurement and Procure-to-Pay processes
• Procurement and Payables system options and configurations
• Foreign Exchange (FX) handling and related processes
• Receipt Accounting and costing
• Tax integrations, including Vertex and/or Sabrix
• End-to-end procurement and payables implementations
• Configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support

Candidates should be transparent about their actual hands-on experience, clearly distinguish Oracle Fusion experience from Oracle EBS experience, and be able to explain what they personally configured, implemented, tested, or supported.

Core Role Focus

Primary domain: Oracle Fusion Purchasing / Procurement

Secondary exposure: Accounts Payable (AP) – understanding AP context, but role is mainly purchasing, since AP has a separate position

ERP focus: Deep Oracle Fusion knowledge, not just generic supply chain

Functional & Domain Requirements

The candidate should have end-to-end procurement process expertise, especially:

Procurement processes:

·        Price negotiation

·        Purchase Order (PO) process

·        PO approvals and submission

·        PO change orders

·        Receipts

Accounting awareness:

·        Not an accountant, but must understand how POs translate into accounting entries

·        Ability to derive / understand accounting accruals for POs in an integrated ERP world

Technical & Problem-Solving Requirements

·        The person must be more than a "process-only” or "pre-sales-only” profile:

·        Fusion hands-on capability:

·        Can log into Fusion and configure, test, and troubleshoot

·        Able to write and execute tests in Fusion (not just describe what to do)

·        APIs & integration understanding:

·        Does not need to code
