Data & AI Consultant / Senior Consultant

The role

You will join small, autonomous delivery teams of 3 to 6 people working on complex data problems. Projects typically run for 3 to 6 months, so the work stays fresh, and they are led by Principal Consultants and Directors rather than traditional project managers.

• Project delivery: design and build robust data and cloud solutions in agile, autonomous teams.
• Client engagement: focus on one client at a time, generally 2 to 3 days a week on site, with the rest working from home.
• Impact: join as a Consultant, or step up as a Senior Consultant leading a pod of 3 to 6 people.

About you

• Strong foundations in SQL, Python and Git.
• Comfortable working across the major clouds (Azure, GCP and AWS).
• Ideally from a smaller consultancy where you wore many hats, rather than being pigeonholed in a large firm. Software Engineers looking to move into data engineering are also very welcome.
• Genuinely curious about technology, the kind of person who builds side projects and explores new AI tools for fun.
• You enjoy technical case studies, being challenged on your solutions and explaining your choices clearly.
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (visa sponsorship is not available).
