The Role • Act as a lead associate in the absence of store management, overseeing daily operations. • Provide exemplary customer service, greeting customers and assisting them with locating merchandise. • Manage cashier duties, including operating the cash register, processing payments, and making change. • Ensure merchandise is stocked, displayed according to plan-o-grams, and shelves are faced and rotated. • Assist with unloading trucks, receiving, and unpacking shipments. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for both customers and staff. What You'll Need • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and handle cash accurately. • Knowledge of cash handling procedures, store policies, and safety practices. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interaction. • Experience in retail, with at least six months of supervisory or related experience preferred. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift merchandise for extended periods. • Capability to read and implement plan-o-grams and merchandising guidance.
