Job Description

We are hiring a full-stack software developer to help build a brand-new requirements management platform from the ground up. This is a net-new, highly iterative build with a target MVP/beta delivery by the end of the year. You'll work across a modern stack: React with TypeScript on the frontend, FastAPI (Python) on the backend, and PostgreSQL for data modeling, contributing to a service-oriented architecture.
While this is not a dedicated AI engineering role, the platform incorporates AI capabilities, and you'll be expected to use AI coding tools fluently in your own workflow and collaborate comfortably alongside dedicated AI architects on the team. You'll take ownership of features end-to-end, from data model to UI, working closely with a small, senior delivery team and communicating clearly and proactively in a fast-moving, remote, client-facing environment. This is a chance to build something new rather than maintain or support an existing system, on a team that values self-direction, reliability, and genuine pride of ownership in their work.

Must-Haves:
  • Minimum 3–5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Proven professional experience with React and TypeScript (frontend)
  • Proven professional experience with Python, ideally FastAPI (Flask/Django acceptable, with fast ramp-up expected)
  • Solid working knowledge of PostgreSQL (schema design, queries, performance basics)
  • Fluent, hands-on daily use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code)
 
Nice-to Haves
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, client-facing consulting environment
  • Strong communication skills — reliability and responsiveness in a remote, client-facing role
  • “Software developer + AI engineer hybrid” profile — applied AI/ML exposure without being a dedicated AI specialist
  • Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience
