Techwish is seeking a VDI Architect for a short-term contract engagement supporting a client in Fort Lee, VA. This is primarily a remote role with periodic travel to Fort Lee, VA, as needed.

Role Overview:
  • Design end-to-end Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) architecture supporting both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Lead the installation, configuration, and optimization of secure, scalable, and high-performance VDI solutions.
  • Advise stakeholders on VDI best practices, technology selection, and infrastructure strategy.
  • Ensure the environment meets security, performance, and scalability requirements.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the VDI platform for reliability and an exceptional end-user experience.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams throughout the design, implementation, and support lifecycle.
