Responsibilities
Engage with customers in retail stores and on the road to promote products and services with enthusiasm and professionalism
Build lasting relationships through excellent customer service, understanding client needs, and offering personalized solutions
Conduct route driving efficiently while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards
Utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts, schedule deliveries, and maintain accurate records
Upsell additional products or services by identifying customer needs and presenting relevant options confidently
Handle heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when transporting merchandise or equipment during deliveries or setup
Maintain knowledge of pricing strategies, merchandising standards, and product features to effectively communicate value propositions
Experience
Previous retail store experience or direct customer service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for engaging with people is essential
Commercial truck driving experience or a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is highly desirable
Familiarity with automobile transportation, route driving, and safe driving practices aligned with DOT regulations
Basic math skills for handling pricing, calculations, and inventory management accurately
Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and reporting purposes
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices to prevent injury
Proven organizational skills to manage schedules, routes, and client information effectively
